Job Description

FOX Factory designs, engineers, manufactures, and markets performance-defining products and systems globally for various vehicles including bicycles, side-by-side, on-road, off-road, and commercial trucks. The Sr. Manager, Chassis Inventory & Strategic Partnership will be crucial in cultivating and maintaining high-level relationships with OEM executives, fleet/bailment leads, and key dealer stakeholders. This role involves leading a high-performing team focused on delivering best-in-class operational performance and ensuring customer satisfaction through strategic chassis inventory management, forecasting, and allocation to support business growth and profitability objectives.
Must have:
  • Lead development and execution of strategic initiatives for chassis inventory management, forecasting, and allocation.
  • Serve as primary executive liaison with OEM and high-level dealer partners.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Development, Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Establish and lead robust chassis demand planning process using sales trends, market analysis, and OE production forecasting.
  • Develop and implement strategies for aged inventory reduction, lifecycle management, and liquidation.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team for daily OE communications, order execution, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Deliver high-impact dashboards and executive-level reporting on chassis status, fill rates, constraints, and market performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using data, systems, and automation.
  • Ensure accuracy in monthly inventory reconciliations, compliance with floorplan and OE reporting, and oversight of demo program controls.

The Sr Manager will also cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with OEM executives, fleet/bailment leads, and key dealer stakeholders, while leading a team focused on delivering best-in-class operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

Strategic Oversight:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives around chassis inventory management, forecasting, and allocation to support business growth and profitability objectives.
  • OEM and Dealer Partner Management:

Serve as the primary executive liaison with OEM and high-level dealer partners, ensuring alignment on chassis needs, vehicle availability, and shared business goals.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:

Partner with Sales, Product Development, Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to ensure chassis inventory aligns with sales forecasts, product launches, and operational capacity.

  • Forecasting & Demand Planning:

Establish and lead a robust chassis demand planning process using sales trends, market analysis, and OE production forecasting to inform procurement strategy.

  • Inventory Optimization:

Develop and implement strategies for aged inventory reduction, lifecycle management, and the liquidation of “end-of-life” chassis through broker partnerships or internal sales channels.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team responsible for daily OE communications, order execution, reporting, and issue resolution across all chassis inventory functions.

  • Reporting & Insights:

Deliver high-impact dashboards and executive-level reporting on chassis status, fill rates, constraints, and market performance to senior leadership and partners.

  • Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements using data, systems, and automation to drive operational efficiency and cost reduction across the chassis lifecycle.

  • Governance & Compliance:

Ensure accuracy in monthly inventory reconciliations, compliance with floorplan and OE reporting, and oversight of demo program controls.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects quickly and efficiently
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel and data transfer – extremely important)
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all levels.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and ERP/inventory systems.
  • Deep understanding of OE ordering, constraints, model configurations, and market dynamics.
  • High attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in OE/dealership chassis sourcing, fleet management, or automotive supply chain. ZOHO and OE system experience a plus.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partner relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning and execution.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all levels.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and ERP/inventory systems.
  • Deep understanding of OE ordering, constraints, model configurations, and market dynamics.
  • High attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
