The Cadence Verisium Debug Team in Israel is seeking a Product Engineer to enhance its offerings. The Verisium Debug tool provides advanced graphical and shell-based debugging capabilities integrated with the Cadence Verisium AI-Driven Verification Platform. This integration leverages AI to significantly reduce debugging time and accelerate product time-to-market. The Product Engineer will play a crucial role in deploying and defining leading verification solutions for top-tier hardware design and consumer electronics companies.
Must have:
  • Collaborate with key customers to address verification challenges
  • Work closely with development teams to communicate customer requirements, prioritize solutions, and review functional specifications
  • Educate field teams and customers on new solutions and methodologies, delivering training sessions and seminars
  • Analyze customer challenges and relay requirements to development teams
  • Support the creation of verification flows and methodologies to enhance Verisium Debug
  • Develop strategic technology roadmaps for product engineering related to Verisium Debug
  • Write and review requirement specifications to ensure customer needs are met
  • Conduct training sessions for application engineers and customers
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with EDA tools and verification solutions
  • Familiarity with design and verification languages (SystemVerilog, VHDL, C/C++, UVM, etc.)
  • Familiarity with client/server technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting software tool issues, particularly with gdb
Good to have:
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl

Role Description

The Product Engineer (PE) will play a crucial role in deploying and defining leading verification solutions for top-tier hardware design and consumer electronics companies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with key customers to address verification challenges using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
  • Development Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to communicate customer requirements, prioritize solutions, and review functional specifications.
  • Education and Training: Educate field teams and customers on new solutions and methodologies, delivering training sessions and seminars.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer challenges and relay requirements to development teams, focusing on priority and value.
  • Support the creation of verification flows and methodologies to enhance Verisium Debug.
  • Develop strategic technology roadmaps for product engineering related to Verisium Debug.
  • Write and review requirement specifications to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Conduct training sessions for application engineers and customers.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with EDA tools and verification solutions (Cadence or others), design and verification languages (SystemVerilog, VHDL, C/C++, UVM, etc.), and client/server technologies.
  • Scripting Skills: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present effectively and work collaboratively.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel globally to engage with customers.
  • Passion for Technology: Enthusiasm for adopting and promoting new technologies to ensure customer success.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting software tool issues, particularly with gdb.
