Job Summary
Kforce's client is seeking a Staff Accountant specializing in Fixed Assets for a dynamic organization in Saint Louis, MO. This 100% on-site role involves managing the full lifecycle of company assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The Staff Accountant will support month-end and year-end close processes, assist with audits, track capital expenditures, and prepare internal financial reporting. Must Have
- Maintain the fixed asset subledger and record monthly depreciation
- Reconcile fixed assets to the general ledger
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with audits and track capital expenditures
- Review asset documentation and collaborate with departments on asset purchases and projects
- Prepare internal financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, year-end, and ad hoc)
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- 1+ years of experience as an Accountant
- Advanced MS Excel skills (including V-lookups and pivot tables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger functions

- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software

This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of company assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. The Staff Accountant ensures fixed asset records are accurate and compliant with accounting standards and internal policies. This position is scheduled as 100% on-site with flexibility on hours. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the fixed asset subledger and record monthly depreciation

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- 1+ years of experience as an Accountant (ideally 1-2+ years)
- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software is a plus
- Advanced MS Excel skills (including V-lookups and pivot tables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger functions
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work under pressure
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
