About the position

We are seeking an enthusiastic Staff Accountant with a passion for their field to join our dynamic and collaborative UK finance team.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end close responsibilities.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations including investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Review and maintenance of fixed asset registers
• Bank reconciliation and cash postings
• Monitor accrual balances and coordinate with business to ensure accruals are adequate.
• Preparation of intercompany entries
• Ensuring that the documented internal controls are followed to safeguard the continued strong internal control environment, including identifying potential efficiencies and areas of development
• Work on other ad-hoc projects as deemed necessary in a changing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Team player with a positive, personable attitude, who wants to work in a growing and dynamic environment.
• Experienced in month-end close to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

The UK base salary range for this position is £40,000-£54,000 base + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonus, incentive plans, and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
