AeroVect is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Perception to lead the deployment of 3D object detection models, including multi-modal approaches. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust data collection and evaluation pipeline, developing a proprietary dataset for model training, and training state-of-the-art models. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or Deep Learning, with at least 5 years of experience deploying 2D/3D object detection models and strong Python proficiency. The ability to lead projects and teams autonomously is also required. A PhD or publications in major conferences are preferred.
Must have:
  • Deploy 3D object detection models
  • Build data collection pipeline
  • Develop proprietary dataset
  • Train SOTA models
  • 5+ years in 2D/3D object detection deployment
  • Python proficiency
  • Lead projects autonomously
Good to have:
  • PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related

You will

  • Deploy 3D object detection models, including multi-modal approaches (camera, LiDAR, radar).

  • Build and maintain a robust data collection and evaluation (metrics) pipeline.

  • Develop a proprietary dataset for model training and evaluation.

  • Train and evaluate state-of-the-art (SOTA) models.

You have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of focused experience in deploying 2D/3D object detection models.

  • Python proficiency.

  • The ability to lead projects and teams autonomously

We Prefer

  • PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline.

  • Publications in major conferences like CVPR, ICRA, NeurIPS, IJCAI, AAAI etc
