Strategy& Luxembourg is seeking a (Senior) Manager to advise multilateral development banks, international financial institutions, and global partnerships, and to work on sustainable finance. The role involves delivering strategic insights, developing and implementing sustainable finance strategies, demonstrating thought leadership, building stakeholder relationships, contributing to business development, and mentoring junior team members. Candidates need 6-8 years of experience, an advanced degree, strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, and fluency in English, with a passion for driving positive impact.

Must Have

• Hold an advanced degree in Economics, Finance, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field
• Bring 6–8 years of relevant experience, ideally within a consulting firm, MDB, IFI, or global partnership organization
• Have a proven track record of delivering strategic advisory services in development finance and sustainability
• Possess strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Are fluent in English

Good to Have

• Experience working with or advising institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, EIB, EBRD, or UN agencies

Your mission: Strategy& Luxembourg is seeking a dynamic and experienced (Senior) Manager to join its growing team focused on: (1) advising multilateral development banks, international financial institutions, and global partnerships, and (2) sustainable finance. The successful candidate will bring a history of thought leadership and practical experience to support clients in navigating complex global challenges.

• Support engagements with MDBs, IFIs, and global partnerships, delivering strategic insights and actionable recommendations;
• Develop and implement strategies related to sustainable finance across a broad range of clients and industries;
• Demonstrate and support thought leadership through publications, presentations, and more;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the development finance ecosystem;
• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations;
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture;
• Stay abreast of global trends, regulatory developments, and innovations in sustainable finance and international development.
