Job Description

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Senior Vice President to lead the Company’s Contract Compliance & Third Party Audit department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of compliance examinations of Lionsgate’s contracts with outside parties as well as third party participation audits of Lionsgate’s distribution of films and television series brought by Producers, Directors, and Talent.
Must have:
  • Oversee contract compliance for film and TV distribution, ensuring adherence to terms, quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Set strategic direction for audits, lead business development, make impactful decisions, and maintain executive client relations.
  • Lead and manage the Third-Party Audit team, ensuring process quality is maintained.
  • Identify and reduce compliance risks by reviewing and interpreting contract provisions.
  • Develop strategies for contract disputes and non-compliance, providing insights through analytics and reporting.
  • Serve as liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Partner with IT to oversee and manage technology for contract compliance.
  • 10+ years of applicable experience.
  • Degree in Business Administration/Management, Law, or Finance.
  • Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal contracts.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interface comfortably and effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
  • Willingness to take an entrepreneurial approach in resolving issues.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and patience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract compliance for Lionsgate’s distribution of films and television series focusing on adherence to terms, quality standards, timelines, and budgets
  • Set the strategic direction for audits and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations
  • Lead and manage the Third-Party Audit team, ensuring process quality is maintained
  • Identify and reduce compliance risks by reviewing and interpreting contract provisions
  • Develop strategies to address contract disputes and non-compliance while providing actionable insights through analytics and reporting on compliance trends
  • Serve as liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders while cultivating an environment of collaboration and innovation
  • Partner with the IT department to Oversee and manage applicable technology to maintain compliance with contracts

Qualifications and Skills

  • 10+ years of applicable experience
  • Degree in related field such as Business Administration/Management, Law, or Finance
  • Must have a strong ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal contracts, have strong

quantitative, analytical skills

  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills both verbally and written and the ability to interface comfortably and effectively with employees at all levels within the company
  • Must be highly organized, proactive, and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task as well as be willing to take an entrepreneurial approach in resolving issues
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and patience as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
