System Development Engineer (PlayStation Platform Game Content Authorship and Delivery System)

Job Summary
This role involves developing server-side software (Amazon Linux) for the backend systems responsible for PlayStation game packaging and content delivery. Responsibilities encompass requirement analysis, design, implementation, developer testing, debugging, and supporting fellow developers. The engineer will develop software used across various aspects of PlayStation products and services. The team collaborates with PlayStation system software developers, server teams, international teams, product planning, and developer support. The work involves building and maintaining a portion of the server infrastructure supporting game binary content pipelines, including features such as game packaging, verification, content protection (encryption), differential delivery, and differential submission functions. The primary users are game developers worldwide. Significant collaboration with overseas teams (primarily US and UK) is expected.
Must Have
- C++ software development (5+ years)
- Linux development platform
- Design patterns & OOP
- High-reliability code
- Accurate requirement analysis
- Understanding RFCs/specs
Good to Have
- Server build/operation experience (on-premise preferred)
- Cryptography fundamentals
- Security knowledge
- Java or scripting (Python)
- Linux/Windows system build/operation
- TOEIC 700+ or equivalent
