Job Summary

The IT Identity Governance administrator is responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of user identities and access controls within the organization's IT systems. This role is crucial for establishing and maintaining the identity governance framework, ensuring secure and controlled access to systems, applications, and endpoints, and mitigating risks associated with user identities and access controls.

Must Have

  • Manage user access rights, roles, and permissions, and monitor user access activities.
  • Oversee administration and configuration of identity and access management (IAM) systems and tools.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Infosec, compliance, audit) to align identity governance practices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support during audits and compliance assessments.
  • Document identity governance processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance endpoint management efficiency, user experience, and security.
  • Possess good technical leadership skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in Identity Governance and Access, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access policies.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Active Directory, Azure AD, Jira/ServiceNow.
  • Strong scripting skills, such as PowerShell, ansible.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.

This position plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the organization's identity governance framework, ensuring secure and controlled access to systems, apps, endpoints and mitigating the risks associated with user identities and access controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing user access rights, roles, and permissions, as well as monitoring and reviewing user access activities.
  • Oversee the administration and configuration of identity and access management (IAM) systems and tools, such as identity management solutions, directory services, and access control systems. Ensure the accurate and efficient provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Infosec, compliance, and audit, to ensure the alignment of identity governance practices with overall IT security and compliance objectives. Provide subject matter expertise and support during audits and compliance assessments.
  • Document identity governance processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance endpoint management efficiency, user experience, and security.

Required Skills:

  • Good technical leadership skills to provide direction, guidance, and support to the team.
  • Advanced knowledge in Identity Governance and Access, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access policies, etc.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Active Directory, Azure AD, Jira/ServiceNow and more.
  • Strong scripting skills, such as PowerShell, ansible, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
