Job Description

CGBOT, a 3D art company with extensive professional experience in video game production, is seeking a Technical Artist with AI experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in integrating AI systems into game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity, with practical knowledge of NPC behaviors, pathfinding, decision trees, and machine learning for gameplay. Collaboration with designers and programmers is key, along with programming skills in Python, C++, or Blueprints. The role requires an understanding of the art pipeline and how AI integrates into production processes.
Good To Have:
  • Basic knowledge of hard surface and organic modeling
  • Python (for internal tools or automation scripts)
  • Houdini (for simulations or procedural generation)
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Substance Painter
Must Have:
  • Reside in Mexico
  • Experience integrating AI systems in game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity)
  • Practical knowledge of NPC behavior techniques (pathfinding, decision trees, behavior trees, machine learning for gameplay)
  • Ability to collaborate with designers and programmers for AI implementation
  • Programming knowledge (Python, C++, or Unreal Engine Blueprints)
  • Understanding of video game art pipeline and AI integration
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 (AI systems and Blueprints)
  • Basic-intermediate level in Blender, Maya, or 3DMax for asset integration

We have an incredible opportunity for a TECHNICAL ARTIST with AI experience to join #TeamCGBOT.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Essential Requirement:

  • Live in Mexico

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in integrating AI systems in game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity)
  • Practical knowledge of behavior techniques for NPCs, pathfinding, decision trees, behavior trees, and machine learning applied to gameplay
  • Ability to collaborate closely with designers and programmers to implement functional and optimized AI systems
  • Programming knowledge (Python, C++, or Blueprints for Unreal Engine)
  • Understanding of the art pipeline for video games and how AI can be integrated into production tools and processes
  • Basic knowledge of hard surface and organic modeling is a plus
