We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality technical solutions. This role blends technical leadership with people management, ensuring timely delivery of projects while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.

Must Have:
  • Lead and mentor a team of software/hardware engineers.
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality technical solutions.
  • Drive architecture, design, and technical decisions.
  • Ensure code quality, testing standards, and development best practices.
  • Oversee project planning, estimation, and execution to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Design, DevOps).
  • Implement and improve agile development processes and tools.
  • Proven track record in senior engineering leadership roles, managing multiple teams.
  • Strong experience in people management, including setting goals, performance reviews, and mentorship.
  • Strong practical experience with JavaScript and its ecosystem (TypeScript, ReactJs, Redux, Node.js).
  • Understanding of Postgresql, Redis, Kafka, Python, C++.
  • Extensive technical background, including experience with high-load architectures and big data systems.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture principles and ability to resolve architectural challenges.
  • Experience establishing and optimizing SDLC processes to drive engineering efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate incidents and implement preventive solutions.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.

About the job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality technical solutions. This role blends technical leadership with people management, ensuring timely delivery of projects while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.

What You'll get to do:

  • Work closely with CTO on the tech/team strategy.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of software/hardware engineers.
  • Promote a healthy, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
  • Drive architecture, design, and technical decisions.
  • Ensure code quality, testing standards, and development best practices.
  • Guide team through complex technical challenges and trade-offs.
  • Oversee project planning, estimation, and execution to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Design, DevOps).
  • Track and report on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Implement and improve agile development processes and tools.
  • Foster continuous improvement through retrospectives and metrics.
  • Act as a technical liaison between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.

What You need to know:

  • Proven track record in senior engineering leadership roles, managing multiple teams.
  • Strong experience in people management, including setting goals, performance reviews, and mentorship.
  • Strong practical experience with JavaScript and its ecosystem (TypeScript, ReactJs, Redux, Node.js) as well as understanding Postgresql, Redis, Kafka, Python, C++ .
  • Extensive technical background, including experience with high-load architectures and big data systems.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture principles and ability to resolve architectural challenges.
  • Experience establishing and optimizing SDLC processes to drive engineering efficiency.
