Job Summary
Scopely is seeking a Technical Producer for the Star Trek™ Fleet Command team, based in Dublin or Barcelona on a hybrid/remote basis. This role involves driving technical teams to enhance performance, stability, tools, and developer experience. The producer will partner with engineering leadership, manage technical roadmaps, clear blockers, and improve communication. Key responsibilities include planning, acting as scrum master, and reporting on technical progress and risks to ensure successful delivery for players and the studio.
Must Have

- Minimum 3 years of production experience.
- Minimum 1 year of technical project management experience.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Experience working with JIRA.
- Strong Google Sheets skills, including conditional highlights and formulas.
- Excellent communication and people interaction skills.
- Ability to visualize data and convey information clearly.

What You Will Do
The Technical Producer role is critical to the lasting success of our studio and Star Trek™ Fleet Command. You will drive our technical teams to deliver measurable improvements in performance, stability, tools and developer experience, turning complex technical goals into clear plans and follow through that deliver results for players and the studio. You will do this in close partnership with engineering leadership, aligning stakeholders, clearing blockers, improving communication and ensuring that technical achievements are recognised across the studio.
You will maintain a clear view of progress, risks and code health across technical initiatives and communicate it in a way that drives decisions and action. This role is for someone with a strong technical background, excellent communication and stakeholder skills, and a bias toward impact and outcomes, not just facilitation.
Reporting into the Lead Producer, your focus will be on technical topics and technical teams. You will partner with engineering leadership to maintain and communicate technical roadmaps, drive alignment and execution across our core technology teams, capture and structure work, and build reports that make the teams accomplishments and impact visible. We work on exciting products and games and you will have the opportunity to make a massive impact on product and development quality.
- Be heavily involved in roadmap planning, pre-production and production
- Act as scrum master or delivery owner for one or more technical teams, helping them run effective and predictable sprints
- Work with all tech and feature teams to understand their top technical challenges and infrastructure, core services and core client technology needs
- Partner with engineering leadership to maintain and communicate technical roadmaps, and drive alignment and execution across our core technology teams
- Drive the creation and maintenance of status reports on technical performance
- Capture technical needs from technical leadership and engineers into structured backlogs that enable discussion, prioritisation and clear status tracking
- Schedule and organise various meetings for capturing, prioritisation and breaking topics down into stories
- Establish and drive processes to improve efficiency and communication within the technical teams, and also to the rest of the studio
- Synchronise the data across various systems such as JIRA, Confluence and Google Sheets
- Maintain project status and progress on a story level as well as on theme and initiative levels
- Create and maintain reports that show various roadmaps, status & progress of technical initiatives, ETAs, key technical risks organised into topic clusters etc
- Integrate bug reports from the QA team into your reports to provide transparency on technical quality for various areas of the code base or the products
- Work closely with the game producers to assure a constant flow of technical improvements make their way into the sprint schedule of game feature teams

- 1+ years of technical-related project management experience
