Job Summary
We are looking for a Procedural Technical Artist to join the game team for our exciting unannounced project! You will work closely with our level designers and environment artists to create high-quality game environments using non-destructive workflows. You will be responsible for establishing core procedural environmental workflows and building procedural tools and assets. The role involves pushing for new technical solutions, acting as a liaison, and developing visual and gameplay features for environments.
Must Have
- At least a year of experience as a Technical Artist in the video game industry
- Previous experience in creating procedural tools and assets
- Good knowledge of Houdini
- Previous experience with and good knowledge of Unreal Engine 5
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python/Lua/VEX) and Blueprints or any other visual scripting languages
- Good understanding of common art workflows and their pros & cons
- Skills in graph or text-based shader authoring (such as Unreal SG / Unity SG /HLSL)
- Great understanding of modern rendering pipelines
- Strong drive and a habit of organizing and structuring your own and others work
- Excellent communication skills, including high proficiency in English

- Previous experience with PCG
- Shipped games
- Proficiency in Blender, Substance Designer or ZBrush
- Proficiency in World Creator or Gaea
- Experience in tools development

The role
We are looking for a Procedural Technical Artist to join the game team for our exciting unannounced project! You will work closely with our level designers and environment artists to create high-quality game environments using non-destructive workflows.
You will be responsible for establishing core procedural environmental workflows and building procedural tools and assets.
Our team and work environment is highly agile, collaborative and creative, giving individual team members a lot of influence along with responsibility. You will have a central role in our production and will act as a procedural evangelist. We are at the beginning of something exciting, so we need you to be an excellent problem solver with strong communication skills.
What you'll do

We have a policy of working 4 days in the office per week, with 1 day optional to work from home. The onboarding is being done fully in the office.
