This Technical Product Support Engineer role involves providing comprehensive technical support to customers, including managing escalations, optimizing fleet performance, and overseeing system installations and upgrades. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment, supporting new hardware/software designs at Alpha and Beta sites, reviewing engineering change orders, and generating detailed system performance data. Must Have:
  • Responsible for all technical support related aspects at a specific customer: escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs and upgrades.
  • Act as intermediary and field escalation focal point between customer and Division.
  • Provide technical support and documentation to field engineers, technicians and product support personnel.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and debug equipment.
  • Provide Alpha Site support for installation, operation, calibration, service and/or testing of new hardware, process or software design.
  • Provide Beta Site Support for installation, operation, calibration, service and/or testing of new hardware, software or processes on a customer tool.
  • Initiate and review ECO's to ensure data supports fix and follow up with communication to the field.
  • Generate and present system performance data including MTBF, MTBI and Availability, process data and I/W spending analysis.
  • Support GPS in the generation of documentation such as CENs and BKMs.
  • Create and review documentation covering technical improvements, system upgrades, and support plans.
  • 7 - 10 years of hands-on experiences on wet clean and plasma/RF/vacuum chamber systems.
  • Knowledge on hybrid bonding process.
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically 20-30% of the time.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Good communication and soft skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all technical support related aspects at a specific customer: escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs and upgrades.

  • Provides Alpha Site support to Engineering specifically related to installation, operation, calibration, service and /or testing of a new hardware, process or software design in house or on an engineering tool
  • Provides Beta Site Support; specifically related to installation, operation, calibration, service and/or testing of a new hardware, software or processes on a customer tool.
  • Initiates and provides review of ECO's to ensure data supports fix and follow up with communication to the field.
  • Generates and presents system performance data as required. This includes performance metrics such as MTBF, MTBI and Availability. Reporting will also include process data and I/W spending analysis.
  • Supports GPS in the generation of documentation such as CENs and BKMs. Creates and reviews documentation covering technical improvements, system upgrades, and support plans. Presents at customer level. Ensures field implementation.

Qualifications

  • 7 - 10 years of hands-on experiences on both wet clean and plasma/ RF/ vacuum chamber systems
  • Knowledge on hybrid bonding process
  • 20-30% of international and domestic travel
  • An individual who is self motivated and work under minimum supervision
  • Good communication and soft skills
