Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager III at Google Health, you'll lead complex software engineering projects for platforms and devices. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, define project scopes, develop and execute plans, monitor key metrics, and identify corrective actions. Responsibilities include prioritizing program goals, translating stakeholder needs into deliverables, and working with cross-functional teams. You'll also build and maintain dashboards, ensuring successful product launches and go-to-market execution. The role requires experience in the software development lifecycle, managing cross-functional projects, and ideally, experience in health, consumer electronics, or wearables. Understanding of ML/AI principles is preferred.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with the complete software development life cycle.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with hardware and software development cycles and processes that ensure product launch or go-to-market execution.
  • Experience working in health, consumer electronics or wearables technologies.
  • Understanding of ML/AI principles and their distinctions from traditional software development.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported program(s).
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals. Build, maintain and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards.
