We are seeking a Technical Support Intern to join the Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT) technical support team. This role involves providing superior customer service, demonstrating technical acumen, and delighting customers. Key responsibilities include assisting internal employees and external administrators by troubleshooting technical issues, managing support tickets, and collaborating with the Technical Support team and leadership for timely resolutions. The intern will also contribute to process improvements, documentation updates, and testing efforts to enhance the overall customer support experience.

  • Ability to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week) during the summer internship/Co-Op period

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Support Intern who will take pride in delighting and empowering our customers by providing superior customer service and demonstrates a friendly and helpful personality teamed with technical acumen to add to the Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT) technical support team. The technical support team is responsible for delivering first class security awareness training support to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Proofpoint technical support intern, you’ll play a key role in assisting both internal employees and external administrators by troubleshooting technical issues, managing support tickets, and collaborating closely with the Technical Support team and leadership to ensure timely and effective resolutions. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to process improvements, documentation updates, and testing efforts that enhance the overall customer support experience.

  • Comfortable working remotely or from our Pittsburgh, PA office.
