Job Description

We are seeking Electrical Test Technicians to join our team for a high-profile railway project in Germany. This role focuses on end-of-line testing of single train carriages, ensuring newly manufactured rolling stock units meet stringent electrical standards before customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical pre-tests and subsystem validation on train carriages, including continuity and insulation resistance tests.
• Utilize multimeters to verify electrical connections and diagnose faults accurately.
• Interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications (in English or German).
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently within a strict 2–4-day testing window.
• Work effectively, either independently or as part of a small team in a static testing environment.
• Ensure 100% completion of tests executed and accompanying documentation.

Qualifications

General Requirements:

• A minimum of at least 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical testing, with a preference for experience in the railway or rolling stock sector.
• Strong ability to read and analyse electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with basic electrical tools, specifically multimeters.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in rolling stock manufacturing or maintenance.
• Understanding of train subsystems (e.g., HVAC, brakes, PIS-Passenger Information System, TCMS).
• Knowledge of railway standards and safety procedures.
