Job Description

As a Turbine Load professional at Capgemini Engineering, you will be part of a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects focused on innovation in the engineering services sector. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your expertise in SOM, FEM, and Wind Turbines (particularly Horizontal) alongside Aeroelastic tools such as HAWC, FLEX5, and BLADED. You will be involved in Aero-Elastic-Hydro modeling involving loads, preprocessing, post-processing, and reporting, ensuring adherence to standards and certifications like IEC-614000 and DNV, TUV. You will also be creating load databases and validating turbine models. Capgemini is committed to helping organizations to accelerate their dual transition to a digital and sustainable world.
Must Have:
  • Knowledge in SOM, FEM, and Wind Turbines.
  • Experience with HAWC, FLEX5, and BLADED tools.
  • Aero-Elastic-Hydro Modeling: Loads, preprocessing, post-processing.
  • Knowledge of IEC-614000 ed 3 and ed 4, DNV, TUV standards.
  • Experience in mitigation strategies for load simulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Good Knowledge in SOM, FEM, Wind Turbines particularly Horizontal

  • Aero-Elastic-Hydro Modelling: Loads, preprocessing, post-processing, and reporting
  • Standards and Certification: IEC-614000 ed 3 and ed 4, DNV, TUV
  • Load Simulations: Experience in mitigation strategies for load simulations
  • Creating load databases, and validating turbine models for further use

Qualification and Education Requirements

B.E., or M.E., Mechanical Engineer
