LightSpeed Japan Studio is a game development studio dedicated to crafting original AAA action game titles for global audiences. Led by industry veteran Hideaki Itsuno, the studio operates across two locations in Tokyo and Osaka.
The studio offers a flexible and inclusive work environment and actively welcomes game creators who are full of talent and passion for pushing the boundaries of game development.
1. Creation of User Interface Artwork: Design visual elements for in-game menus, HUD, and various UI screens.
2. Research and Analysis of User Experience: Analyze player behavior and develop concrete UI/UX designs that provide an optimal gameplay experience.
3. Creation of In-Game Interface Resources: Create game-ready resources that can be implemented in the game engine, including textures and icons.
4. Collaboration with the Development Team: Work closely with engineers and artists to deliver designs that consider technical requirements during implementation.
Job Requirements
1. Experience in UI/UX design (preferably for AAA or AA projects)
2. Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop and After Effects
3. Design thinking with a user-centered approach
4. Experience in developing AAA action games (preferred)
5. Excellent artistic skills and creativity
6. Strong teamwork and communication skills
Work Location
Osaka (JR Osaka Station JP TOWER OSAKA), Tokyo (Toranomon Hills Business Tower) *Preference will be considered
Salary
Annual salary: Negotiable (with salary increase/bonus)
*Consideration will be given to experience, skills, etc., and will be treated favorably according to company regulations.
*For general employees, 35 hours of fixed overtime per month are included.
For managerial positions, 10 hours of fixed overtime are included.
Working Hours and Holidays
Working hours: 09:30 ~ 18:30, Break time: 60 minutes
Flex-time available
Complete two-day weekend system (Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays)
Paid leave: For the first year of employment, granted proportionally to the month of joining. Up to 22 days based on years of service.
Year-end and New Year holidays (December 30th to January 3rd)
Sick leave (paid): 12 days/year (granted separately from paid leave)
