LightSpeed Japan Studio is a game development studio dedicated to crafting original AAA action game titles for global audiences. Led by industry veteran Hideaki Itsuno, the studio operates across two locations in Tokyo and Osaka.

What the Role Entails

1. 3D Modeling

• Create 3D models of characters, environments, and objects for in-game use, ensuring designs align with the game's theme and story.

2. Texturing and Shading

• Perform texturing and shading tasks to give models realistic surface qualities.

3. Rigging and Animation Preparation

• Set up rigging for characters and objects to ensure natural movement and prepare them for use by animators.

4. Maintaining Art Style

• Work collaboratively with other artists to maintain consistency in the overall art style of the game.

5. Visual Concept Realization

• Bring ideas to life based on the game’s visual concept, creating appealing visuals.

6. Documentation

• Prepare work procedures and technical documents to facilitate information sharing within the team.

Who We Look For

• Experience in 3D art production (preferably in AAA or AA projects)
• Proficiency in using 3D modeling tools (such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender)
• Knowledge of texturing and shading
• Experience in developing AAA action games(preferred)
• Strong drawing skills and creativity
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team
• Experience in creating photorealistic 3D models (preferred)

Salary

Annual income: Negotiable (with salary increase/bonus)

*Consideration will be given to experience, skills, etc., and will be treated favorably according to our company regulations.

*For general employees, fixed overtime pay for 35 hours per month is included.

For managerial positions, fixed overtime pay for 10 hours is included.

Working Hours and Holidays

Working hours 09:30 ~ 18:30 Break time 60 minutes

Flex-time available

Complete two-day weekend system (Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays)

Paid leave: For the first year of employment, granted proportionally based on the month of joining. Up to 22 days based on years of service.

New Year's holiday (December 30 - January 3)

Sick leave (paid): 12 days/year (granted separately from paid leave)
