Job Summary

Job Description

Quantic Dream is seeking a UI Developer for its ambitious Star Wars Eclipse project. Working within a small, innovative team, you'll collaborate with UI Developers and UI/UX Designers to build unique user experiences through ergonomic and functional interfaces. Responsibilities include UI prototyping, iterative development, identifying feature gaps, task division for easy implementation and testing, designing UI systems and frameworks, developing and implementing UI elements and screens, maintaining technical documentation, and evaluating UI performance and resource optimization. Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Lua, C#, etc.), game engines (Unreal Engine or Unity), and strong communication skills are essential.
Must have:
  • 3+ years UI development experience
  • Scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
  • Game engine experience (Unreal Engine or Unity)
  • UI system design and development
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Good to have:
  • C++ proficiency
  • Interaction design knowledge

Job Details

Dans le cadre de son développement et pour son très ambitieux projet Star Wars Eclipse, QUANTIC DREAM étoffe son équipe Game User et recrute un(e) développeur.euse UI.

 
Sous la responsabilité du Lead UI/UX au sein d’une équipe à taille humaine drivée par l’innovation et l’esprit d’équipe, vous travaillerez en collaboration avec les Développeurs UI et Designers UI/UX à la création d’expériences utilisateur uniques au travers d’interfaces ergonomiques et fonctionnelles. 

Vos missions

    • Participer au prototypage de l’UI et assurer un développement itératif 
    • Identifier les manques éventuels sur les demandes de features et diviser les tâches globales en sections pouvant être implémentées et testées facilement 
    • Designer et concevoir les systèmes et frameworks UI 
    • Développer et implémenter des éléments d’interface et écrans UI 
    • Créer et assurer le maintien de la documentation technique 
    • Evaluer l’interface utilisateur et optimiser les performances et l’utilisation des ressources

Vos qualités qui feront la différence

    • Vous vous appuyez sur au moins 3 ans d’expérience à un poste similaire 
    • Vous connaissez et pratiquez des langages de script (JavaScript, Python, Lua, C#, ...) 
    • Vous manifestez un fort intérêt pour le design d’interactions, les interfaces et pour les technologies qui y sont liées 
    • Vous connaissez et utilisez des moteurs de jeu tels qu’Unreal Engine ou Unity, et leurs environnement UI. 
    • Vous faites preuve de rigueur et de fiabilité 
    • Bon(ne) communicant(e), vous êtes doté(e) de qualités relationnelles afin d’interagir et de collaborer avec des interlocuteurs variés 
    • Vous faites preuve d’initiatives et êtes force de proposition 
    • Votre créativité et esprit pratique vous aident à trouver et à appliquer les meilleures solutions pour avancer 
    • La maîtrise du C++ est un plus 
    • Anglais (oral et écrit)
