UI Software Engineer

The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced UI Software Engineer to join our team at Stellar Entertainment. You'll work on our exciting projects developing user interfaces and systems for our games. You will collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to create visually stunning and intuitive UI experiences for our players. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge games in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

As UI Engineer you will;

• Design, implement, and optimize UI features and systems
• Collaborate with designers and artists to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure efficient integration of UI elements into the game
• Debug and resolve UI-related issues and performance bottlenecks
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI design trends and best practices
• Contribute to the overall improvement of UI development processes
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

What you need to smash this role;

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience
• Demonstrable experience as a software engineer, with a focus on UI development
• Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming
• Experience with UI development using frameworks such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar
• Familiarity of UI design principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for video games and interest in the gaming industry
