Job Description

Limit Break is a global leader in the mobile gaming industry, focused on transforming digital markets and building vibrant communities. The UI/UX Artist will define user flows, create wireframes and prototypes, design UI components using Photoshop, animate interactions, and implement UI elements in Unity. The role requires collaboration with product and development teams to align UX with business and technical goals, ensuring smooth integration of UI into gameplay and application logic.
Good To Have:
  • Experience creating UI behaviors using Unity's animation system and Timeline.
  • Understanding of localization and accessibility.
  • Motion design or VFX skills to enhance UI feedback.
  • Experience using performance profiling/optimization tools in Unity for mobile UI.
  • Advanced prototyping, visual design, and collaboration skills in Figma.
Must Have:

Responsibilities

User Experience (UX) Design

  • Define and document user flows and in-app navigation structures.
  • Create wireframes, interaction diagrams, and prototypes that clearly convey UX concepts.
  • Identify user-centric issues (friction points) and propose refined solutions.
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to align UX with business and technical goals.

User Interface (UI) Art & Design

  • Design sophisticated mockups, screens, and UI components using Photoshop.
  • Animate UI interactions and micro-transitions to enhance user response and engagement.
  • Maintain visual consistency and accessibility across mobile platforms.
  • Deliver production-ready assets and behaviors tailored for Unity implementation.

Unity Integration

  • Implement and adjust UI elements using Unity UI systems (Canvas, RectTransform, Animator, etc.).
  • Understand and apply best practices for asset structure, resolution independence, and performance optimization.
  • Create and manage pull requests with organized art and prefab assets.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure smooth integration of UI into gameplay and application logic.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of practical experience in UX/UI design for mobile applications.
  • 2+ years of practical experience with Unity UI systems (prefabs, Canvas, animation).
  • 3+ years of practical experience with Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience with prototyping, visual design, and collaboration using Figma (or equivalent tools).
  • Proven track record of defining, sharing, and improving user flows.
  • Knowledge of version control with Git.
  • Consideration for art asset organization and pipelines in Unity projects.
  • High communication skills and collaborative attitude to work smoothly with other departments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience creating UI behaviors using Unity's animation system and Timeline.
  • Understanding of localization and accessibility.
  • Motion design or VFX skills to enhance UI feedback.
  • Experience using performance profiling/optimization tools in Unity for mobile UI.
