UI/UX Product Designer

Plan A Technologies is seeking an experienced UI/UX Product Designer to create intuitive, beautiful, and functional experiences across web and mobile platforms. The role involves taking features from initial concepts to high-fidelity interactive prototypes, conducting user research, building and maintaining a scalable Design System, and partnering with developers to ensure high-fidelity implementation. The ideal candidate will champion the user, ensuring seamless and accessible interactions.

Must Have

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced UI/UX Product Designer to create intuitive, beautiful, and functional experiences across our web and mobile platforms. You are a "full-stack" designer who is equally comfortable conducting user research as you are perfecting pixel-perfect layouts. You will be the champion of the user, ensuring every interaction is seamless and accessible.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years as a UI/UX Product Designer and a portfolio showcasing relevant work is required to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Take features from initial concepts (wireframes/user flows) to high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to validate design decisions.
• Build and maintain a scalable Design System to ensure visual consistency across all products.
• Partner with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented with high fidelity.
• Create micro-interactions and animations that enhance the user experience and provide clear feedback.

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of projects, specifically showing your process from problem to solution.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma (including auto-layout, components, and variables). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Experience with Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines (HIG).
• Strong eye for typography, color theory, and grid systems.
• Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
