SVP of Technical Product Management

2 Hour Learning is seeking a deeply technical product leader to modernize its AI-powered learning ecosystem. This executive-level role requires a CTO-like technical rigor, product vision for transformational change, and a passion for education. The SVP will own the architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration of the entire learning system, focusing on lean, scalable products that improve student outcomes by blending engineering excellence with learning science insights.

Must Have

• Maintain and demonstrate deep education product expertise to guide strategic decisions
• Develop technical specifications that make important technical decisions and prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and long-term viability
• Implement generative AI technologies to automate and streamline engineering processes, aligning with the strategic vision of reducing manual labor
• Act as the CTO of one or more education products, owning core competencies and driving business value through seamless execution and strategic decision-making
• Deep experience or interest in data-driven learning science
• 7+ years of experience making the important architecture and design decisions on software projects
• 2+ years of experience making design decisions involving the use of cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
• 4+ years of experience in positions with full technical and delivery ownership on a revenue-generating product
• Experience building product features that make advanced use of Generative AI
• Experience using Generative AI to simplify work processes
