Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. AML7 is dedicated to the manufacture of drug substance pharmaceuticals benefiting patients across the globe. Starting in summer 2024, for this opportunity and during this program, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop your professional career. You will design, create, and implement training experiences using immersive technologies like Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality to engage, inform and evaluate participants.

Candidates need to demonstrate the ability to understand complex manufacturing and training processes and be able to simulate such processes in a virtual world. You will participate in projects, activities, or any initiative within the manufacturing industry and provide support to team members.

You may also seek resources outside the organization as needed.

• Create interactive projects (video games, AR/VR experiences)
• Develop visual concepts
• Proficiency in 3D game engine development with Unreal Engine 5
• Experience with 3D modeling, animation, texturing, and real-time rendering
• Capable of understanding complex processes and generate training experiences in a virtual space
• Experience with Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya, Adobe Creative Cloud, Visual Studio, and other related digital content creation tools

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university
• Pursuing or completed 3 years of study of the Bachelor’s Degree program in Video Game Programming, Video Game Art, and/or 3D Design
• Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English / Spanish)
• Teamwork oriented, organized, basic project management skills
• Be involved in extracurricular activities
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine, C++, Visual Studio, Graphics Software
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Meet landmarks and deliver high quality results
