The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people and proactively resolving issues. Responsibilities include improving app engagement by ensuring user satisfaction, collaborating with the engineering team on technical solutions, and providing positive app experiences through live chat with financial advice. This role reports to the Customer Service Manager and offers the flexibility of working remotely or from the downtown Nashville office. Training will be provided on Zendesk, customer service protocols, and financial wellness.
Must have:
  • Communicate via phone, email, SMS, chat

  • Troubleshoot technical problems
  • Communicate with engineering team
  • Data entry in various platforms
  • Customer Service/Customer facing experience
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize
Good to have:
  • Experience with Zendesk/Intercom
  • Experience in Fintech or HR Tech
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Conversational Spanish

Job Details

Rain is the fastest-growing earned wage access (EWA) fintech in the U.S., serving 2.5 million employees and backed by top investors like QED and Prosus. We’ve raised nearly $400M in funding—including the largest Series A in fintech history—and just closed our Series B to fuel our next stage of hypergrowth.

The ideal candidate loves talking to people and proactively solving issues. You will be responsible for improving app engagement by making our users happy, working with our engineering team to solve any tech issues, AND providing a positive app experience through our live chat function by offering well-researched financial advice. This job will be reporting to our Customer Service Manager, and has the option to sit in our downtown Nashville office or operate remotely.  You will be trained on Zendesk, customer service protocols, and financial wellness. You will be expected to educate and assist our customers in a fast and friendly matter. 


Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, SMS, and chat (Zendesk/Intercom)
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to questions about product, pricing, and availability
  • Troubleshoot technical problemsWork with internal departments to meet customer's needs
  • Effectively communicate with our engineering team to resolve app bugs and problemsData entry in various platforms

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred
  • Conversational level Spanish preferred
  • Experience in Customer Service or Customer facing role
  • Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using ZenDesk, Intercom, or related tools.  
  • Experience working in Fintech or HR Tech software companies is preferred
  • Experience working in a high paced work environment
  • A willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work

Compensation:
$18.50-$19.50/Hour
