Job Summary
This Summer Intern Program offers an inside look into potential career paths, allowing interns to apply coursework in practical settings. Interns will be exposed to daily tasks and long-term strategies, building valuable relationships with experts. The UX/UI Design Intern will dive into real-world design challenges, shaping digital experiences that connect riders to products, and collaborating with experienced designers and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life. Trek is dedicated to creating intuitive, beautiful, and performance-driven digital experiences for cyclists.
Must Have
- Currently pursuing a degree in UX/UI Design, UX Research or Human-Computer Interaction
- Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive, visually appealing interfaces
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Assist in designing user interfaces for web, mobile, and on bike platforms
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts
- Conduct usability testing and analyze feedback to improve user experience
- Support visual design efforts, including layout, typography, and component libraries
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh, user-centered ideas

- Experience with prototyping or usability testing
- Interest in cycling and outdoor activities

Job Description
We’re a passionate team of designers, engineers, and riders dedicated to creating intuitive, beautiful, and performance-driven digital experiences for cyclists. From refining app interfaces to enhancing e-commerce flows, we believe that great design should make riding and shopping for bikes as enjoyable as the ride itself.
What You’ll Do
As a UX/UI Design Intern, you’ll dive into real-world design challenges and help shape the digital experiences that connect riders to our products. You’ll collaborate with experienced designers and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life. Expect to:
- Assist in designing user interfaces for web, mobile, and on bike platforms

What We’re Looking For
