As a QA Engineer Intern on the Integrated Connected Products team, you will get hands-on experience with manual and automated testing of physical products and firmware, contributing to eSystems development.

Must Have

  • Develop and Execute Functional Tests for Integrated Bike Components
  • Collaborate with Firmware and Software Engineers to assess quality
  • Work Closely with UI/UX Designers to identify gaps and issues
  • Provide Direct Feedback to Internal and External Stakeholders
  • Create a Standard Framework for Future Testing of CAN Commands
  • Implement an Automated Testing Solution of CAN Command Python Scripts
  • Generate Documentation & Reporting on FW Testing Frameworks
  • Current Junior/Senior undergraduate or first-year master’s student with a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with QA concepts and terminology
  • Ability to read and/or write Python
  • Authorized to Work in the U.S.
  • Available to work for up to 40 hours per week, onsite in Waterloo, WI

Job Location ------------ Job Description --------------- Paid Full Time Internship Summer 2026 Division: IT&D – Integrated Connected Products Role Overview: As a QA Engineer Intern on the Integrated Connected Products team, you’ll be part of a dynamic team working at the confluence of Hardware and Software to deliver simple and capable eSystems for riders of all walks of life. Reporting to the Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing of both physical products and the firmware that controls these function’s behaviors. Responsibilities: * Develop and Execute Functional Tests for Integrated Bike Components * Collaborate with Firmware and Software Engineers to assess the Quality of the Underlying Firmware of Upcoming Integrated Component * Work Closely with UI/UX Designers to identify gaps and issues with the Proposed and Implement UI Layer * Provide Direct Feedback to Internal and External Stakeholders on the UI and Functional Elements of Upcoming Hardware to Drive Self-Development and Contribute to Team Success * Create a Standard Framework for Future Testing of CAN Commands on Integrated Components * Implement an Automated Testing Solution of CAN Command Python Scripts to mimic Real-World Conditions and Interactions * Generate Documentation & Reporting on the Manual and Automated FW Testing Frameworks that can be used for Future Projects Qualifications * A Current Junior/Senior undergraduate or first-year master’s student with a minimum 3.2 GPA, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Familiarity with QA concepts and terminology. * Ability to read and/or write Python. * Demonstrates passion for product quality and continuous improvement * Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills. * Able to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple roles, departments, and divisions. * Authorized to Work in the U.S. * Available to work for up to 40 hours per week, onsite in Waterloo, WI Bonus Skills (Not Required): * Previous Experience testing physical product (Optional) * Experience with CANLog (Optional) What You’ll Gain: * Real Responsibility from Day 1: You’ll be empowered to make an impact and contribute to meaningful Bike launches coming in 2027 * Growth and Learning: Access to Level 5 Library and Mentorship to grow your skills and career. * Inclusive Team Environment: Join a collaborative and supportive team where everyone is encouraged to thrive.
