Job Description

Aptiv is seeking a Validation Project Manager to define and coordinate validation plans for advanced safety, electrification, and connectivity solutions. This role involves collaborating with product and application engineers, clients, and laboratories to ensure testing aligns with requirements, overseeing test campaigns, analyzing results, and contributing to process improvements. The position is based in Epernon, France, and requires expertise in mechanics, materials, electricity, and environmental testing, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Supervise the test campaign by submitting test requests and regularly reporting progress to the OEM and Core Team.
  • Communicate test results to clients and discuss solutions.
  • Work according to Aptiv's quality system.
  • Validate reports issued by the Epernon Laboratory.
  • Hold a Bac+5 engineering degree, Master in physical measurements, or equivalent experience.
  • Master mechanics, metallic and thermoplastic materials, electricity, and environmental tests (thermal shocks, vibrations, sealing, etc.).
  • Proficiency in analysis, revision, and/or validation of test reports.
  • Rigor, organization, and ability to write and formulate tests clearly and precisely in French and English.
  • Good level of technical English.

This position is for a permanent contract (CDI).

Mission objective: Your MISSION will consist of defining the validation plan and its scope in collaboration with the Product Engineer, the Application Engineer, and the client, ensuring communication between the laboratory and the project team, including:

Your main missions:

  • Define the validation plan in collaboration with the Product Engineer, Application Engineer, and client as a member of the project team;
  • Identify new client requirements or product features to anticipate the preparation of appropriate equipment, methods, and skills in the laboratories;
  • Perform laboratory tests if necessary;
  • Coordinate tests in external laboratories if necessary;
  • Supervise the test campaign by submitting test requests, and regularly report on the progress of tests to the OEM and the Core Team;
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of test methods and processes;
  • Communicate test results to clients and discuss solutions;
  • Work according to Aptiv's current quality system;
  • Validate reports issued by the Epernon Laboratory.

Your profile:

You hold a Bac+5 engineering degree, a Master's degree in physical measurements, or equivalent experience.

You master mechanics, metallic and thermoplastic materials, electricity, and environmental tests (thermal shocks, vibrations, sealing, etc.).

Analysis, revision, and/or validation of test reports hold no secrets for you.

Your analytical and synthesis skills, your proactive approach, and your ability to communicate and work in a team will allow you to approach your missions in the best conditions.

You will also need to be rigorous, organized, and able to write and formulate tests clearly and precisely in French and English. A good level of technical English is expected as we operate in an international context.
