VAT Intern

As a VAT Intern at Gevernova, you will support European VAT compliance activities, gaining a deeper understanding of business processes, ERP systems, and European VAT legislation. Responsibilities include preparing VAT and Intrastat returns, reconciling VAT accounts, and assisting the tax team with accounting and compliance tasks. This hybrid role requires ongoing studies in Finance or Accounting, Excel proficiency, and good English communication skills.

Must Have

• Prepare VAT and Intrastat returns
• Prepare and analyze VAT account reconciliations
• Deliver reporting and administration activities in complex ERP systems
• Support experienced tax team members in their tax accounting and tax compliance tasks
• Support team VAT team members with different administrative tasks
• Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting; or similar studies
• Economics or similar BA/MA or equivalent knowledge or experience
• Availability for min. 24 hours per week
• Excel knowledge
• Good command of English

Good to Have

• Knowledge of basic accounting

• Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
