We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically savvy Data Integration Technologist to join our onboarding team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for importing, validating, and mapping customer data into the Nasdaq Verafin data model—ensuring seamless integration and high-quality analytics for our financial crime detection platform.
Must have:
  • Collaborate with financial institutions to gather and understand source data from core and ancillary banking systems.
  • Set up Secure File Transfer Protocol connections.
  • Translate and ingest diverse data types into Nasdaq Verafin’s standardized data model using import and scheduling tools.
  • Work closely with the Interfaces and Data Validation teams to ensure data is accurately represented.
  • Perform both visual and programmatic data validation to confirm data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, or onboarding in a SaaS or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with data validation methodologies and reconciliation techniques.

Are you passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically savvy professional to join our onboarding team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for importing, validating, and mapping customer data into the Verafin data model—ensuring seamless integration and high-quality analytics for our financial crime detection platform.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with financial institutions to gather and understand source data from core and ancillary banking systems (e.g., wires, ACH, online banking logs).
  • Set up Secure File Transfer Protocol connections
  • Translate and ingest diverse data types into Verafin’s standardized data model using our import and scheduling tools.
  • Work closely with the Interfaces and Data Validation teams to ensure data is accurately represented within the Verafin application
  • Perform both visual and programmatic data validation to confirm data integrity and resolve discrepancies

What We're Looking For:

  • Graduate of a technical college program
  • Experience with data integration, ETL processes, or onboarding in a SaaS or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with data validation methodologies and reconciliation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Outstanding customer support skills
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, JSON, Amazon Web Services, Linux Scripting and XML

This position is located in St. John’s and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
