Job Title: Mid-level Compositor

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in Visual Effects Compositing
Responsibilities
Compositing Expertise:
- Execute high-quality compositing tasks using The Foundry Nuke.
- Integrate live-action footage, 3D renders, and visual effects elements seamlessly.
Camera Tracking
- Utilize camera tracking techniques to match and integrate 2D and 3D elements into live-action footage.
- Ensure accurate placement and movement of visual effects elements within the scene.
Collaboration
- Work closely with other members of the visual effects team, including 3D artists and animators, to achieve the desired final look.
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and timelines.
Maya Knowledge (Plus)
- Familiarity with Maya for tasks such as rendering, basic 3D integration, and asset preparation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a Maya-based workflow.
Quality Control
- Perform thorough reviews of own and others' work to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Address feedback and make necessary adjustments to achieve the desired visual effects.
Deadline Management
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Provide accurate time estimates for completion of compositing tasks.
Continuous Learning
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to compositing.
- Actively participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Animation, Visual Effects, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in visual effects compositing.
- Proficiency in The Foundry Nuke is essential.
- Strong understanding of camera tracking techniques.
- Knowledge of Maya is a plus.
- Excellent eye for detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
