Stibo Systems is seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President of Product Marketing to lead global product marketing efforts. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer, connecting Product Management, Sales, and Marketing. The VP will define and execute product marketing strategy, drive go-to-market success, and elevate the brand through compelling narratives and customer-centric positioning, focusing on value proposition, sales enablement, and market insights.

Job Details

This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will serve as a key connector between Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams. The VP will be responsible for defining and executing the product marketing strategy, driving go-to-market success, and elevating our brand through compelling narratives and customer-centric positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and lead the global product marketing strategy, translating the product vision into a customer facing value prop and messaging across markets and buyer personas.
  • Own the creation of differentiated product narratives that clearly articulate unique value in the data management space.
  • Align product marketing efforts with the product roadmap to ensure timely and impactful market communication of new capabilities and solutions.
  • Operationalize Product Marketing: define and scale repeatable processes for launch planning, market research, and field enablement across the business.
  • Collaborate with multiple parts of the business to develop annual go-to-market strategy that lays out the target audiences, hero products, key positioning, and customer needs for the fiscal year, upon which marketing initiatives will be based.
  • Work directly with sales leadership to create and execute strategies that drive revenue growth. Ensure product marketing is fully aligned with sales goals, providing the necessary resources and support to convert opportunities into business results.

Sales Enablement & GTM Execution

  • Drive the developing and delivering of training, sales tools, and resources that enable the sales organization to effectively communicate product value, overcome objections, and close deals. Equip the sales team with the knowledge to position products with precision and confidence in diverse customer segments
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to develop go-to-market programs that drive pipeline growth and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Lead product launches with cross-functional coordination across Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Customer & Market Insights

  • Collect and analyze customer and competitive intelligence, and market segmentation research to inform marketing strategy and positioning at product level.
  • Translate customer pain points and market trends into actionable insights and compelling product messaging, utilizing customer feedback to refine targeting strategies and ensure product relevance in all markets.
  • Track and consume competitive intelligence from multiple sources and act as a subject matter expert on competitive activity within the company.

Analyst Relations

  • Oversee the analyst relations strategy and plan, leading relationships with key industry analysts to ensure accurate and favorable representation of products and strategy.
  • Help coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, and responses to market evaluations and reports.
  • Support the development of messaging and materials tailored for analyst audiences, aligning with broader product positioning and corporate narrative.
  • Monitor and influence analyst coverage to support strategic marketing and sales objectives.

Thought Leadership & Content Development

  • Oversee the creation of thought leadership content including white papers, webinars, and analyst briefings.
  • Represent in industry forums and analyst engagements to strengthen market presence and credibility.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing team with a culture of creativity, clarity, and accountability.
  • Foster strong collaboration across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Alliances to ensure unified execution of GTM strategies.

AI Adoption

  • Champion the adoption of AI to enhance product marketing use cases and scale impact.
  • Constantly evaluate and adopt emerging AI platforms to streamline market research, competitive analysis, content generation, and other use cases.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation around AI usage within the product marketing team.

Key Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, preferably in enterprise software or data management platforms.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing product marketing teams.
  • Proven success in developing and executing product marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market differentiation.
  • Deep expertise in messaging, positioning, storytelling, and sales enablement for complex, multi-product platforms.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid GTM models including sales-led and product-led motions.
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM), customer intelligence, and competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI tools and strategies within product marketing
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, effective with both technical and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across global teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Alignment with values and a passion for delivering customer-centric innovation.
  • Pragmatic Marketing certification / experience is a plus.
