Job Description

The Consultant will be responsible for strategic consulting, solution outline and design for MDM engagements across Australia and New Zealand. Analyses and maps clients' business requirements, processes and objectives, as well as develops the necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs and expectations. Works with technical consultants to provide customized technical solutions.
Must have:
  • Provide proven expertise in designing and configuring MDM solutions.
  • Provide strategic consulting for MDM engagements.
  • Perform solution outline and requirement gathering for MDM projects.
  • Provide pre-sales support for MDM opportunities.
  • Perform Macro & Micro design of the MDM application.
  • Implement Master Data Management solutions with the team.
  • Participate in SME reviews of MDM opportunities/engagements.
  • Liaise throughout project lifecycle with relevant project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate analysis and design workshops.
  • Define final solution design.
  • Provide architectural and technical input for projects.
  • Write, review, and approve technical specifications and configurations.
  • Perform technical reviews of solutions.
  • Develop best practices.
  • Improve the product by providing technical feedback to R&D.

  • Experience in consulting organizations

Job Details

The Consultant will be responsible for strategic consulting, solution outline and design for MDM engagements across Australia and New Zealand. Analyses and maps clients' business requirements, processes and objectives, as well as develops the necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs and expectations. Works with technical consultants to provide customized technical solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide proven expertise in designing and configuring MDM solutions
  • Provide strategic consulting for MDM engagements (MDM Blueprint and Roadmap definition etc.)
  • Perform solution outline, and responsible for requirement gathering for MDM projects
  • Provide pre-sales support for MDM opportunities
  • Perform Macro & Micro design of the MDM application using MDM tools
  • Implementing the Master Data Management solutions with the team of Stibo business consultants, application consultants and delivery partners.
  • Participate in SME reviews of MDM opportunities/engagements
  • Liaise throughout project lifecycle with relevant project stakeholders, facilitate analysis and design workshops, and define final solution design
  • Provide architectural and technical input for definition, estimation and delivery of projects
  • Write, review, and approve technical specifications and configurations to ensure alignment with customer requirements, overall company policy and architectural standards
  • Perform technical reviews of solutions (for customers, partners or colleagues), develop best practices.
  • Improve the product by providing technical feedback to R&D for core development.

Key requirements:

  • Must have proven experience within the software industry (minimum 8 years) preferably within Master Data Management and/or Information Management.
  • 10+ yrs of working experience in MDM and reference data management (or related technologies)
  • A proven background as the role of solution consultant for MDM or Information Management engagements
  • A proven track record in MDM consulting, solutioning, implementation, and pre-sales.
  • A proven track record in Phase-0 activities like blueprint and roadmap definitions.
  • Ability to identify and implement internal & external best practices, tools and standards
  • Strong project management skills and experience with application development and implementation methodologies
  • Sound knowledge of framework and lifecycle of Master Data Management
  • A sound working knowledge with MDM data modelling
  • A good knowledge of EIM (Enterprise Information Management) components and processes
  • A solid understanding of Data Quality Management (DQM) processes and usages in context of the MDM application.
  • Natural mentor for client business and IT team members
  • Experience in product development companies, System Integrator or consulting organisations will be beneficial
