WalkMe Practice Lead, Principal Consultant

As a WalkMe Practice Lead, Principal Consultant, you will lead and mentor a team of Instructional Designers and WalkMe Content Developers. This client-facing role involves managing WalkMe projects, designing advanced technical training strategies, and providing strategic guidance to enterprise clients. You will implement smart walk-throughs, configure analytics, and evangelize best practices for digital adoption platforms, ensuring optimal system training and adoption.

Must Have

• Lead and mentor Instructional Designers and WalkMe Content Developers.
• Provide strategic oversight, feedback, coaching, and quality assurance.
• Conduct Learning Needs Analysis for enterprise clients.
• Design and implement advanced technical training strategies leveraging WalkMe.
• Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions.
• Design and develop WalkMe solutions across enterprise applications.
• Create enterprise learning and adoption strategies using DAP solutions.
• Implement smart walk-throughs and automation solutions.
• Configure and maintain WalkMe analytics and metrics dashboards.
• Provide high-level technical consulting on WalkMe architecture.
• Document technical specifications and implementation guides.

• 8+ years designing and developing WalkMe content for enterprise systems.
• 4+ years leading large scale WalkMe implementations.
• 4+ years project management for DAP implementations and content development.
• 4+ years training and mentoring WalkMe developers.
• 8+ years corporate or consulting experience in Learning and Development.
• Strong consultative approach and client service orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated thought leadership capabilities.
• WalkMe certification with advanced features expertise.
• Extensive project management experience (waterfall and agile).
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, IT, or related field.
• WalkMe Builder 1 & 2 Certification.

We are seeking a skilled Lead WalkMe Principal Consultant and DAP Expert to join our Training as a Service (TaaS) consulting team. In this client-facing leadership role, you will manage teams delivering WalkMe projects, design training solutions, and provide strategic guidance to both your team and enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

---------------------

Learning & Development Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of Instructional Designers and WalkMe Content Developers
• Provide strategic oversight, feedback, coaching support, and quality assurance for team deliverables
• Conduct comprehensive Learning Needs Analysis for enterprise clients
• Design, develop, and implement advanced technical training strategies & programs leveraging WalkMe
• Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions for various skill levels
• Assess training effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain Content Development Trackers for assigned projects

Solution Design & Implementation

• Design and develop WalkMe solutions across multiple enterprise applications and platforms
• Create enterprise learning and adoption strategies leveraging the benefits of DAP solutions (e.g., WalkMe, Userlane, etc.) to optimize systems training and adoption engagements
• Implement smart walk-throughs and automation solutions to streamline complex processes
• Configure and maintain WalkMe analytics and metrics dashboards
• Support content migration and platform upgrades
• Provide high-level technical consulting on learning technology architecture, specifically WalkMe
• Document technical specifications and implementation guides

Client Engagement & Thought Leadership

• Provide high-level consulting to clients on digital adoption strategies
• Evangelize best practices for utilizing WalkMe and other digital adoption platforms
• Stay current with latest trends in WalkMe and Training Technologies
• Present solutions and recommendations to client stakeholders at all levels
• Promptly identify issues or risks to Leadership and recommend strategic solutions
• Train and mentor junior WalkMe developers on platform best practices

Required Skillsets

• This a remote role based in the US, limited travel may be required (less than 30%) for client engagements
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing WalkMe content for enterprise systems
• 4+ years of experience leading large scale WalkMe implementations
• 4+ years of project management experience for DAP implementations and content development
• 4+ years of experience training and mentoring WalkMe developers
• 8+ years of corporate or consulting experience in Learning and Development
• Strong consultative approach and client service orientation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
