Job Description:
This role encompasses Level 2 End User and Windows system support and requires knowledge of Desktop Virtualization. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting VMware VDI system and Windows Desktop issues. In addition, you will work with senior team members to support the VMware Windows Server Infrastructure, provide 1st and 2nd level End User Computing (EUC) support, and perform application installations and support for all Regional employees. You will also participate in the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process for all VMware and Windows problems.
Key Technical Skills & Competencies (Must Have)
- 5 to 10 years Horizon View 7.x VDI End user support
- 3 to 5 years of experience with Windows Server 2012 – 2016 operating systems
- 5 to 10 years of experience supporting Windows Desktop Operating Systems
- 3 to 5 years of experience implementing and maintaining Windows Desktop / VDI Image
- 3 to 5 years of experience supporting VMware Horizon View and App Volumes in a VDI environment
- 5 to 10 years of experience working with Dell Desktop line of hardware
- 3 to 5 years of working knowledge of HP server hardware
- 3 to 5 years of experience with Office 365 user management
- Understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, Routing and SMTP concepts.
- Microsoft Certifications (MCITP, MCSE, MOUS, and VCP) are a strong plus; some will be required within a year of joining IBKR.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and proven strong analytical / troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a global Windows team
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a global financial organization (e.g., Investment Management, Banking, Financial Technology Services).
Key Technical Skills & Competencies (Nice to Have)
- Working knowledge of Windows and 3rd party Patch Management technologies (Shavlik, Manage Engine, etc.)
- Working knowledge of large-scale MDM solutions (MS Intune, Mobile Iron, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with PowerShell is a plus.
- Working experience with Active Directory / DHCP / DNS / Group Policy in a distributed environment.
- Enterprise knowledge of Teradici management or Dell Wyse Management console
