WordPress Developer

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team at GameCloud Technologies Private Limited for a 2-month contract. This role involves designing and developing multiple websites from scratch, ensuring high performance and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Key responsibilities include implementing new features, guiding website architecture, optimizing for speed, and providing technical support while maintaining graphic standards and brand consistency.

Must Have

• Design and implement new features and functionality for WordPress websites
• Establish and guide website architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability
• Manage all technical aspects of the CMS
• Work closely with the team for coherent CMS integration with other technologies
• Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
• Provide technical support and address any issues related to WordPress
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery)
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Good problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with website optimization tools
• A strong portfolio of work demonstrating proficiency in WordPress development
