Job Description

Point S, Distribution Stox, and RSSW, a leading Canadian tire and wheel distributor, seeks an Account Director. This role involves developing and implementing business strategies, managing sales activities to meet objectives, and leading the account development process from identification to contract renewal. The successful candidate will advise clients, conduct market analyses, and build long-term relationships. Must have:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies.
  • Establish an action plan to identify territory potential.
  • Monitor action plan and report on sales activities and account issues.
  • Manage territory activities to achieve sales objectives.
  • Lead the entire account development process.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous account development management.
  • Actively participate in corporate events.
  • Technically advise clients on product brands.
  • Keep knowledge of the tire industry up to date.
  • Conduct competitive market analyses and share findings.
  • Build long-term relationships with representatives and manufacturers.
  • Perform various analyses and revisions of discounts.
Good to have:
  • Bilingualism (intermediate French/English) is an asset

We are looking for an Account Director. The area to cover: From Valleyfield to Sorel and Brossard to Granby.

  • Develop and implement business development strategies in line with company objectives and expansion plans.
  • Establish an action plan to identify the full potential of their territory.
  • Monitor their action plan and report regularly on ongoing sales activities and account issues.
  • Manage activities in their territory to achieve the company's sales objectives.
  • Assume leadership of the entire account development process, from identifying decision-makers to obtaining or renewing major contracts.
  • Implement and maintain a rigorous process for managing and monitoring account development activities.
  • Actively participate in corporate events involving your own territory.
  • Technically advise clients and prospects on the different product brands offered by the company.
  • Keep their knowledge of the tire industry up to date.
  • Conduct competitive market analyses and share their research with the team.
  • Build long-term relationships with various representatives and manufacturers.
  • Perform various analyses and revisions of discounts.

Qualifications

---------------

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development.
  • Field sales experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sales and win-win negotiation for long-term partnership development.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships at all levels of the organization, including the executive level of potential and existing clients.
  • Strong leadership.
  • Good communicator, team player.
  • Business acumen and results-oriented.
  • Listening skills and customer service oriented.
  • Rigor in identifying good opportunities and following up on files.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with technologies: MS Office, CRM.
