The Account Executive, Partnerships will be responsible for managing client sponsorship development, planning, and marketing initiatives. This role involves collaborating with the Senior Manager and account team to develop strategies, plan, activate, and execute a travel program, including its hospitality aspects. The responsibilities include assisting with program management for sports and music partners, participating in program rights implementation, building and managing timelines, creating client-ready materials, and supporting the evaluation of sponsorships. The role requires developing and implementing sponsorship marketing strategies, managing client and vendor relationships, and handling on-site event marketing operations. The candidate will also be involved in preparing weekly reports, and tracking program measurements, events, and industry trends.
Must Have:
  • 3 years of relevant account management experience.
  • Fluency in French Canadian, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with sports/music platforms.

The Role and What You’ll Do:

                                                                                                           

The Account Executive, Partnerships will support the day-to-day management of select clients’ sponsorship development, planning, and activation marketing initiatives. Specifically, this position will partner with the Senior Manager and Account team to develop strategy, planning, activation and execution efforts around a travel program and it’s hospitality elements.

  • Assist with the day-to-day management and strategic development of client’s program needs for sports and music partners
  • Participate in the planning, implementation and measurement/tracking of program rights and assets – e.g., creative approvals, event logistics, tickets/hospitality, guidelines, imagery and video management, premiums and merchandise, etc.
  • Build and manage timelines to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met within allocated timeframe and budget
  • Create and maintain client-ready materials such as POVs, valuations, activation plans, competitive analyses, industry research, measurement tracking, and weekly reporting on current events, trends and intelligence
  • Assist in management of evaluation process for new, renewed and prospective sponsorships, as well as the after-action performance measurement process based on established client objectives
  • Support sponsorship tactical implementation/coordination at all events where agency staff is needed

You Have These:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 years of relevant agency, property (team/League), or client-based account management experience
  • French Canadian fluency, both written and spoken
  • Experience working on and/or with sports and/or music platforms/properties
  • Proven experience with development and implementation of sponsorship marketing strategies on behalf of clients/companies
  • Prior experience with day-to-day relationship management of clients, agencies and vendors
  • Participation in (or exposure to) the selection, negotiation, and evaluation of successful sponsorship programs
  • Proven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results
  • Practical experience with on-site event marketing operations, hospitality and logistics
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and flexible team player with pro-active approach
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Sports business and general marketing understanding
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel for extended periods of time

Hiring Range Minimum:

$60,406 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:

$70,000 annually
