We’re looking for an experienced and analytical Accounting Manager to play a key role in dentsu Indonesia’s finance team. In this position, you will lead critical reporting workstreams, ensure compliance with both local and international requirements, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. This is a strategic role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about turning numbers into insights that shape the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead end-to-end financial reporting: Deliver accurate monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and ad-hoc reports to local and global leadership (Board, Exec Committee, and Regional stakeholders).

  • Oversee statutory reporting: Ensure timely and high-quality completion of statutory and management reports to Dentsu Inc., including support for UK statutory filings.

  • Deliver insights, not just numbers: Lead workstreams that provide meaningful, actionable financial analysis to support strategic decisions and influence financial policy.

  • Partner across the business: Collaborate with regional/global teams and key functions (Tax, Treasury, M&A, Legal, Internal Audit, HR) to drive alignment and transparency.

  • Ensure compliance and governance: Monitor adherence to financial reporting policies, and guide teams in embedding strong internal controls and compliance processes.

  • Champion continuous improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and raise efficiency and reporting quality.

  • Lead and inspire: Mentor team members, foster collaboration, and support the Financial Reporting Manager in building a high-performing, motivated finance team.

A bit about you

  • 8+ years of experience in accounting, reporting, and compliance; ideally within a multinational or matrix organization.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, group consolidation, and statutory reporting standards.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

  • Proven ability to manage complex reporting cycles and lead cross-functional initiatives.

  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

  • Experience leading and developing finance teams, with a passion for mentorship and collaboration.

  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with enterprise financial systems (SAP, Workday, or similar preferred).

  • A proactive, forward-looking approach to reporting—always thinking one step ahead.
