Description

As an Administrative Accounting Representative at Tamatem, you will support the Accounting and Admin team in all day-to-day transactions, contributing to accurate results in monthly and yearly reports, and assisting with HR-related financial tasks.

Your role within Tamatem’s world:

  • Maintain general ledger, including preparing journal entries, reconciliation, and closing books monthly.
  • Prepare reports on accounting payables and receivables, record fixed assets, and calculate and record depreciation on a monthly basis.
  • Perform accounts payable duties, such as preparing payments and arranging settlements in accordance with payment terms and instructions.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation. Update the bank account balance report daily and ensure sufficient funds are in the account.
  • Register/book all incoming and outgoing transactions.
  • Record daily sales and issue invoices/cash receipts.
  • Prepare Sales Tax Endorsement.
  • Manage employees’ social security registration and contributions.
  • Handle employees' income tax calculations and submissions.
  • Prepare employment letters, salary certificates, and other HR-related financial documents.
  • Any other tasks assigned by superiors in the finance department or at the company level.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • 1–3 years of experience.
  • Preferably knowledgeable in QuickBooks accounting system.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on business requirements.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English languages.

Required Knowledge:

  • MS Office Suite.
  • Online banking systems.
