Job Description

Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg is offering a 3.5-year apprenticeship (with potential for shortening) as a Vehicle Mechatronics Technician for System and High-Voltage Technology. The apprenticeship begins September 1st, 2025 and includes training at OSZ KFZ-Technik in Berlin. Responsibilities include servicing, maintaining, and repairing electric and hybrid vehicles; identifying and resolving malfunctions; parametrizing climate, comfort, and safety systems; performing wheel alignment and brake system repairs; overhauling drive units; and installing and servicing high-voltage components. Successful candidates will have strong knowledge of physics, technology, and mathematics, along with a secondary school qualification. Strong practical skills, diligence, and a responsible attitude are essential.

Must have:

Good knowledge of physics, technology, and mathematics
Secondary school qualification (MSA, Realschule, or Abitur)
Practical skills and technical understanding
Diligence and responsibility
Service and repair of electric/hybrid vehicles
High-voltage component handling

What You’ll Do

Service, Wartung und Instandhaltung von insbesondere Elektro- und Hybridfahrzeugen
Fehlfunktionen und Störungen identifizieren, Maßnahmen ergreifen und beheben
Klima-, Komfort- und Sicherheitssysteme parametrieren, Betriebswerte einstellen
Fahrwerk vermessen und ggf. einstellen, Bremsanlagen reparieren, einstellen und Verschleißteile austauschen
Antriebsaggregate Instand setzen
Hochvoltkomponenten installieren, anschließen, verbinden sowie Service und Wartung durchführen
