Job Description

As an Associate II, Inside Sales at Nordson EFD, you will be responsible for increasing the sales of top products within your assigned territory and managing customer relationships. You'll handle technical and commercial inquiries, proactively contact customers, and report on regional activities. This role involves utilizing sales tools, collaborating with various departments, and traveling to meet with customers. You'll also provide training assistance and ensure Nordson's overall success. The role requires at least 5 years of sales experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent, focusing on building relationships and connecting with others. This role requires face-to-face interactions with customers.
Must have:
  • Increase share of Nordson EFD products sold in the territory.
  • Respond to technical and commercial inquiries from customers.
  • Proactively contact customers in account list and sales region.
  • Utilize all available sales tools, including CRM / C4C.
Good to have:
  • B2B Sales experience preferred.
  • Electrical and Mechanical technical aptitude.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Increase share of Nordson EFD Top 1K Products sold in the territory

· Owns the defined account list and the region, understanding the construct and nuances of the region and developing

action plans and strategies to grow that customer base beyond expected economic growth

· Responds to technical and commercial inquiries from customers and prospects in a prompt manner, addressing any

customer troubleshooting or training assistance, requests for quotations, equipment recommendations and

demonstrations

· Proactively contacts customers in account list and sales region, supporting past supply of Nordson EFD product and

developing new opportunities within each customer location

· Reports on the region, including monthly forecasts, activities, key actions, key accounts and annual sales plans and key

initiatives

· Utilizes all available sales tools, including CRM / C4C, sales presentations, demo equipment, Road Shows and Trade

Shows.

· Works with diverse groups to ensure customer satisfaction, including Customer Service (CSG), Tech Services,

Shipping/Logistics, Engineering, and more

· Works with Marketing to support lead generation, product growth, product strategies and pricing, trade shows, and more,

including MarComm and Product Line Managers (PLM)

· Travels throughout assigned territory to meet with regular and prospective customers, focused on becoming each

customer’s manufacturing partner and fluid dispense expert

· Provides training assistance for new salespeople or new sales training manuals/protocol

· Understands all Nordson entities, their key products, and their key sales offerings. Works to ensure Nordson is

successful, no matter how the sales credit is applied

· Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree with superior sales skills

· At least 5 years of previous sales experience,

· In lieu of degree, equivalent experience & education may be considered

· B2B Sales experience preferred

· Enjoy building relationships and connecting with others

· Enjoys travel

· Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications

Skills and Abilities

· Comfortable with customer face to face interaction

· Electrical and Mechanical technical aptitude

· Strong technical and selling skills

· Goal orientated self starter
