Rockstar Games is seeking a talented Associate Systems Engineer, Identity and Access Management to join their team. This full-time, in-office position involves delivering global IT systems infrastructure to development teams, maintaining infrastructure, and automating processes. Responsibilities include managing user identities, roles, and access permissions, supporting onboarding/offboarding automation, implementing authentication technologies, documenting IAM processes, and performing technical research. The role requires Active Directory and Group Policy management and administration of SaaS and on-premise applications. The candidate will collaborate with a team across multiple continents to achieve goals. The role also involves occasional flexible and out-of-hours work.
Must have:
  • Manage user identities, roles, and access permissions.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding automation.
  • Implement MFA, SSO, and authentication technologies.
  • Manage Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Administer SaaS and on-premise applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good to have:
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar systems.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure IAM.
  • Experience writing API based queries and reports.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Administration experience with Atlassian stack.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s game development studio in Andover, MA.  

WHAT WE DO

  • We deliver global IT systems infrastructure to the development teams.
  • We maintain our infrastructure to the highest standard, with an emphasis on preventative actions rather than reactive.
  • We constantly review our processes with the aim of automating wherever possible.
  • We are a team spread across 3 continents, that work closely together, to achieve our goals to a high standard, always.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing user identities, roles, and access permissions across platforms.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding automation and access reviews.
  • Help implement MFA, SSO, and other authentication technologies.
  • Document IAM processes and contribute to policy development.
  • Perform detailed technical research and testing.
  • Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Administration of SaaS and on-premise applications, including Exchange, Office 365 and Zoom.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the IT industry.
  • Industry qualifications such as Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate, 365 or Azure qualifications, Okta OCP are advantageous but not essential.

SKILLS

  • Understanding of IAM concepts and tools (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, LDAP)
  • Windows Stack (Active directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DFS/R)
  • Exchange Server and Exchange Online
  • Office 365 administration
  • Zoom and VoIP administration
  • SaaS application administration
  • SSO administration e.g. Okta
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team or individually as required.
  • Self-motivated & confident.
  • Excellent documentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience with taking projects from planning through to completion.
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations.
  • Capacity to juggle a mixture of break-fix and project work, managing individual priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours, or out of hours as required.

PLUSES

Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.

  • Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing/service management systems.
  • AWS, GCP or Azure IAM.
  • Experience writing API based queries and reports.
  • Experience using/supporting enterprise monitoring tools (Elasticsearch/Splunk).
  • Administration experience with Atlassian stack (Confluence/Jira).
