SBM Management is looking for a Box Truck Driver. The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for safely receiving, storing, shipping, and issuing equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools, and will compile stock records in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Key duties include operating a truck for deliveries, loading/unloading cargo, following routes, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining logs, and communicating with staff and customers. The role requires ensuring cargo security, complying with DOT regulations, and maintaining the vehicle. Other duties may be assigned.
Must have:
  • Operate a truck to deliver goods to customers, warehouses, or business locations.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment or by hand when required.
  • Follow a designated delivery route and maintain a timely schedule.
  • Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and customer receipts.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
  • Ensure goods are secured properly and handle all cargo with care.
  • Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
Good to have:
  • Previous experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle preferred
  • Experience using GPS and delivery tracking systems

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operate a truck to deliver goods to customers, warehouses, or business locations.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment or by hand when required.
  • Follow a designated delivery route and maintain a timely schedule.
  • Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues.

Education and/or Experience

  • No education requirement
  • Previous experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle preferred.
  • Experience using GPS and delivery tracking systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Must have a valid drivers’ license
  • Must have a clean driving record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more).
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.

\*CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required\*

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
