This Business Management Apprenticeship is part of Microsoft's Neurodiversity Hiring Program in Paris, France. The 12-24 month internship focuses on building inclusive hiring approaches recognizing neurodiverse strengths (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, etc.). Responsibilities include identifying, defining, and designing opportunities to support new/improve existing programs. The intern will advocate for program value through defined metrics, gaining stakeholder buy-in. They will monitor programs to ensure alignment with objectives and efficient execution, including change management. Interns collaborate on real-world projects globally, building community and exploring passions while working on cutting-edge technology.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field
  • At least one semester remaining after internship
  • Fluency in English
  • Legally authorized to work in France

The goal of the is to build an inclusive hiring approach that recognizes and embraces the strengths of Neurodiverse candidates. Neurodiversity encompasses a wide range of cognitive differences, such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia & dyscalculia.  

 

As a Business Management Intern, you will identify, define, and design opportunities to support and/or develop new programs or improve current programs. You will advocate for and demonstrate the value of the program through clearly defined metrics in order to gain buy in from stakeholders, partners and customers. You will monitor programs to ensure all activities align with program objectives and ensures program processes are executed efficiently including change management and/or program improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field.
  • Must have at least one semester/term of school remaining following the completion of the internship.  
  • Fluency in English.
  • Employment type: Contrat d'apprentissage.
  • You must be legally authorised to work in France to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit). 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in French

Responsibilities

  • Assists others in performing program landscape research and analysis (e.g., internal and/or external market, sales, delivery), forecasting, and examining business trends (e.g., customer feedback and expectations) to identify audience size and program scope, stay current, agile, and competitive.
  • Helps improve operations of existing programs by helping apply industry methodology, define program issues, assess various scenarios, and select the optimal scenario to resolve issues.
  • With oversight from others, contributes to the direction and strategy from leadership regarding business area of expertise in order to help execute plans that shift current priorities to new organizational initiatives and objectives, and influences others to change behavior accordingly. Learns to define vision and strategy for change, broad and specific impact, and the flow of communication to the organization.
  • Learns how to define and track the success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]), such as quality, adoption, usage, impact, and effectiveness for the program.
  • Assists others working with cross-functional (e.g., organizational, product, business) stakeholders (e.g., Engineering) to design programs from initiation to delivery.
