Job Description

The Canada Operations and Reporting Business Partner drives adoption of new policies and procedures through change initiatives, guidance, and effective communication. This role is a key partner to the Sales Excellence team, enabling strategic analytics to enhance commercial excellence. Responsibilities include partnering with the Sales Incentive team, managing sales territory processes, acting as a subject matter expert, overseeing data operations, leading reporting enablement, and executing ad-hoc analytics.

Must Have:
  • Partner with the Sales Incentive team to ensure Canadian readiness and proper execution of commission programs, serving as a consultant to local stakeholders.
  • Manage Canada sales territory processes, including orchestrating territory design, operationalizing sales roster and territory assignments via Anaplan.
  • Act as subject matter expert for internal stakeholders by clarifying program rules, data inputs, and calculations, driving transparency.
  • Manage and resolve commission-related inquiries and disputes, partnering with the US commissions team.
  • Oversee Canada’s data operations, including enrichment and cleansing of Philips customer master data, territory and roster tracking, and integration of 3rd party datasets.
  • Lead Canadian reporting enablement, translating existing offline reports into cloud platforms, gathering business user requirements, automating reports, training employees, and establishing quality control.
  • Partner with marketing and cross-functional partners to identify and refine 3rd party data inputs, operationalize translation to Canada use cases, and integrate into data lakes, reporting platforms and offline reports.
  • Execute ad-hoc analytics and run-the-business activities to maximize performance.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in sales operations, marketing, or finance, with a strong focus on analytics, reporting, data management and cleansing, and sales operations use cases.
  • Front-end development experience with BI&A tools such as Qlik and Power BI.
  • At least a bachelor’s degree.

Your role:

  • Partner with the Sales Incentive team to ensure Canadian readiness and proper execution of commission programs, serving as a consultant to local stakeholders on program design, interpretation, and issue resolution. Manage Canada sales territory processes, including orchestrating the territory design process, operationalizing sales roster and territory assignments via Anaplan, and co-executing the territory design with your sales excellence partners.
  • Act as subject matter expert for internal stakeholders (leadership, sales, services) by clarifying program rules, data inputs, and calculations, while driving transparency and understanding across the organization. Manage and resolve commission-related inquiries and disputes, partnering with the US commissions team to ensure accurate payouts and issue prevention.
  • Oversee Canada’s data operations, including enrichment and cleansing of Philips customer master data for Canada use cases, territory and roster tracking, integration of 3rd party datasets such as procedure claims data, etc. Lead Canadian reporting enablement with a focus of translating existing “offline, excel based reports” into cloud platforms, gathering and translating business user requirements, automating and improving remaining offline reports, training field and HQ employees, and establishing robust quality control measures throughout.
  • Partner with marketing and cross-functional partners to identify and refine 3rd party data inputs, operationalize translation to Canada use cases, and integrate into data lakes, reporting platforms and offline reports. Execute ad-hoc analytics and run-the-business activities to maximize performance.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in sales operations, marketing, or finance, with a strong focus on analytics, reporting, data management and cleansing, and sales operations use cases such as territory design, sales incentives, and performance management.
  • Your skills include front-end development experience with BI&A tools such as Qlik and Power BI.
  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in business administration is preferred.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Mississauga, Canada is $95,944 to $150,769 annually.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
