Job Description

This role drives competitive advantage on supply chain initiatives for assigned CMO’s, acting as a bridge between regional/category GMS supply chain planning hubs, local teams, and CMO operations. It serves as the customer contact for supply interface, providing mid-term supply overview, and as an extended arm of the Supplier Relationship Team for managing CMOs on-site. The focus is on Customer Service, Quality, Value creation, Cost reductions, Continuous process improvement, and overall Compliance to ensure continuous supply at optimum cost and high quality.
Must have:
  • Manage CMO orders for best customer service and efficient cost.
  • Monitor and ensure timely ERP entries; support CMO trainings.
  • Provide timely inputs for supply communications and escalations.
  • Support CMO risk identification, mitigation, and closure.
  • Ensure proper documentation and deployment of Supply Chain processes.
  • Support CMO execution of Product Life cycle events.
  • Act as extended arm of Supplier Relationship team.
  • Implement and maintain SRM programs with assigned CMO’s.
  • Collect and monitor CMO key deliveries, performance, and KPIs.
  • Implement/Maintain process documentation and active process improvement.
  • Improve and simplify processes for standardization and efficiency.
  • 8+ Years of experience.
  • BE/BTech or business degree.
  • Expertise in Supply chain, Production planning, Manufacturing.
  • Stakeholder management with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing, and process excellence.

About the role

Drive competitive advantage on supply chain initiatives for assigned CMO’s. This role will build the ‘bridge’ between the regional/category GMS supply chain planning hubs, local team and CMO operations.

  • On the Customer side it acts as the point of contact for the Supply interface, supply planning hub and provides a mid-term supply overview at the CMO’s.
  • On the Supply side the role is an ‘’extended arm’’ of the Supplier Relationship Team for managing the CMOs on site attention/intervention. The role focuses on Customer Service, Quality, Value creation & Cost reductions, Continuous process improvement and overall Compliance as per Haleon Consumer Healthcare guidelines in order to ensure continuity of supply to the business at optimum cost and high quality.

Key responsibilities

  • CMO Order management to realize best customer service at efficient cost by maintaining target OTIF, and Conformance to agreed supply plans.
  • Monitor and ensure timely ERP (SAP and User interfaces) entries and support CMO’s with required trainings.
  • Provide timely and relevant inputs for supply communications and supply escalations.
  • Support CMO risk identification, drawing mitigation plan and follow up on risks closures contract manufacturing organizations. Keeping overview of aggregated demand to the contract manufacturers and monitor supply status month on month basis.
  • Ensure proper documentation and CMO level deployment of all processes related to Supply Chain management.
  • Support CMO level execution of Product Life cycle events Product introductions, Composition changes, artwork changes, tech /analytical transfers and site exits with proper inventory planning and stakeholder alignment (a/o Artwork Operations) to prevent any shortages, write-offs and obsolescence.
  • Act as ‘’extended arm’’ of the Supplier Relationship team in remote areas or on CMO site support to manage overall CMO end to end supply chain results.
  • Implement and maintain SRM programs with assigned CMO’s, supporting in implementing proper supplier classification and operating rhythm, driving continuous improvement, optimizing quality, service, cost, innovation and regulatory compliance.
  • Collect and monitor CMO key deliveries, supply performance, KPI’s (key Performance Indicators) and ensure the CMO (s) constantly meets the standards and targets, along with performance documentation.
  • Implement/Maintain process documentation and demonstrate active process improvement focusing on problem solving approach, focusing on corrective actions/preventive actions.
  • Improve and simplify processes to develop standardization, simplification and efficiency while increasing financial & quality compliance.

Qualifications and skills Essential

  • 8+ Years of experience
  • BE/BTech or business degree
  • Supply chain, Production planning, Manufacturing

  • Knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing and process excellence is used to understand complex issues and develop solutions to meet customer quality.
