Your role:
As a Community Manager at Aesir Interactive, you will serve as the direct connection between our players and our games. You’ll build and nurture engaged communities across multiple platforms, helping to shape our brand image through authentic interaction, thoughtful feedback handling, and creative event planning. Your insights will help us stay aligned with our players' needs and foster a positive, inclusive player environment.
Your Daily Work
- Plan and implement community strategies for our games and studio identity
- Be an active and approachable presence in our online communities (e.g., Discord, Reddit, Steam, social media)
- Monitor discussions and trends, address issues early, and keep internal teams informed
- Collaborate with influencers and content creators to boost visibility
- Create and publish community-driven content such as dev blogs, updates, and player spotlights
- Organize community events like livestreams, Q&As, and in-game happenings
- Moderate online spaces to encourage positive and constructive discussions
- Provide feedback summaries and sentiment reports to development and leadership teams
- Support event planning, press briefings, and team preparation for interviews
- Coordinate approval workflows for communication assets and ensure timely delivery
Your Profile
- Proven experience in community management or social media, ideally within the games industry
- Strong communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
- Deep understanding of online communities, player expectations, and gaming culture
- Experience working with content creators and influencers is a plus
- Comfortable managing multiple channels, engaging with diverse audiences, and working across teams
- Passionate about games and fostering inclusive, engaged communities
- Self-organized, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with tools like Discord, Reddit, Steam, and content management platforms
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and grow player communities across key platforms
- Represent community interests internally and foster two-way communication
- Ensure that tone, messaging, and engagement align with our brand and player values
- Moderate platforms and engage directly with players in daily conversations
- Plan and execute content and events to support long-term community engagement
- Track and analyze community sentiment, feedback, and KPIs
- Maintain high-quality communication standards across all touchpoints
- Support and advise marketing, PR, and development teams on community-related topics
